'Our stay at Hope Cottage was memorable for a number of very good reasons. The weather gods smiled upon us which is always a bonus in October. However it was the cottage itself, Flushing and the surrounding area which made such lasting impressions. It was our first visit to this part of Cornwall and we will certainly be back.
Hope Cottage is spacious, comfortable, well maintained and equipped to a high standard. The location couldn't have been better - the local shop next door, the Seven Stars and the Royal Standard pubs along the street in one direction and in the other to the Quay and the passenger ferry to Falmouth. We used the passenger ferry several times to cross over to Falmouth. It was great to be able to leave the car 'at home'.
For us Hope exceeded expectations and provided both a peaceful retreat and a perfect base from which to explore Cornwall. There is so much more we would like to see and now we have the perfect place to stay when we do. Here's hoping to re-visit Hope Cottage sometime soon.'
